Connect Hotel Stockholm

+ Excellent value for money. Clean and with perfectly kind staff. Meets every expectation and goes beyond. Very decent breakfast. do not be afraid of the location, excellent neighborhood, several minutes of walk to the train station, and three stops (10 minutes) to Stockholm central station with trains constantly running (local transportation, SL ticket).

If you look hard on hotels.com hotelcombined and in their App you could get better prices on the properties nearby not listed on Booking.com However we chose this property because we found a Twin Room instead of two beds with shared bathroom with breakfast included and wanted to see how comfy the double room would be.Certainly this property is not as clean and well- air-conditioned as nearby hotels. However it offers a fantastic breakfast because the quality of the breakfast ingredients - it is a COLD buffet breakfast and. coffee and a variety of milks are going to make you feel grateful to its owners. Don't forget to ask for the room with Microwave oven and teamaking pot because they are available not in all rooms. Unfortunately cleaning is not done every day like it usually is in a hostel. It is quiet in a double room and it takes two minutes to get on the train. Last but not least there are Connect Hotels throughout the city and the one in the center has excellent facilities as well. Thanks so much for hosting us and making our stay so wonderful. PS Regarding museums some of them are totally overpriced - 150Kronas for example - and some are not able to let you visit it due to huge lines all day long. The airport trip takes half day due to very long distances inside the Terminal of Arlanda airport. Therefore it's really good to plan walking around islands and parks and take a boat trip around,enjoy walking tours, libraries, Skansen and Nobel Museums where there are no lines and have your Fika and favourite bites with the view of Stockholm. Fortunately public transportation works even after midnight so you could stop by MAX Burgers until 3am as well and yes, there is a line if you want to get something from them at the Arlanda Airport❤️

Very nice hotel, with good size and clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was ok, without hot meals but plenty of the others. It is 20-30 minutes from Stockholm, it can be reached with commuter trains 40 or 41, which are on the SL travelcard. The train station is 400m away, aprox. 5 minutes from the hotel. A COOP supermarket is near the train station, and a pharmacy. I did not see any restaurants around there. The area is very quiet, the hotel itself is clean and quiet.

The location of the facility is very good. The biggest benefit is that you can take the commuter train from terminal 2-3-4 from Arlanda airport and go directly to Älvsjö by train number 40. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Älvsjö station. You only need to buy an extension ticket from the SL application to make this trip, or if you want, there are staff at terminal 2-3-4, you can get it from there. This train journey takes 48 minutes. It's good to have this advantage when traveling to and from the airport, because in stockholm this can make life difficult. Also breakfast was decent. I have never seen room cleaning service but I am not sure if it is necessary to request for cleaning.

Hotel is located a few minutes walk from metro station, it takes only 8 minutes to get to the Gamlastan or if you prefer to walk it's 2 hours :) We arrived at the place in the middle of the night and we were a bit confused, because we had no information that the reception is on the second floor and the door downstairs were closed. But we manage to check in. Beds were comfortable, it was warm in the room, but no stuffy. Bathrooms were easy accessed, clean and even thou there was lots of guests there was no queue. Breakfast was simple but very tasty, muesli with jogurt and amazing fruit soup was delicious, my sister preferred berry fruit me exotic, we still remember that taste :) Room was clean with linen, towels and good wifi Connection. It was small and it was quite difficult to exist without the sun light, but we knew what we are paying for so that is just an impression. In the description on the main booking page there is an information about free coffee/tea 24/7 but after breakfast it was charged 20 kronor with one refill free. It's really great place to spend the night if you plan intensive time in Stockholm. Tack för en fantastisk vistelse och vi ses nästa gång :)
